It is an absolute privilege for all of us to be creating a brand-new school devoted to meeting the social, emotional, and mental health needs of our pupils.
Our Senior Leadership Team has a wide range of experience including leadership roles in Special Schools, Alternative Provision and mainstream settings and together we are excited to be building a team of exceptional and creative practitioners.
The whole team completely focused on achieving the best possible experiences, outcomes and future destinations for every pupil who joins us.
Our educational vision is to prepare our students for their future and is captured in three words:
Feel, Think, Do.
We want every student who comes through the door at Bricklehurst Manor School to be able to:
- Feel. To have social, emotional, and mental health resilience and the confidence, self-awareness and understanding to deal with the challenges of modern life.
- Think. To have the skills for lifelong learning, through reading, writing, numerical fluency, digital literacy, and critical thinking, leading to appropriate and relevant qualifications.
- Do. To have a range of opportunities to explore and develop their skills, talents, and creativity so they have a deep understanding of their own abilities and potential and of their unique place in the world around them.
